20th Week Pregnancy
I can't believe it. Already 5 months! How time flies. I have been happy that I passed all the ordeal. I am still a little worried that baby is a week behind. I hope he will catch up soon. So far, all tests came back normal and the doctor has no worries about him so I think I should be confident on that too.
The highlight of the week, just the result came back normal that put me and hubby at ease. We bought our first gift to the baby. His stroller and clothes. We just want to get started since we don't have any families nearby. It's just me and hubby to do all the running around for baby stuff purchases. We could not even rely on baby shower if my friend's will really give me one. So we need to get ready to get all we need for the baby. We will do it one day at a time. We need a lot to do before the baby comes. Wanted to take care all of that at least 2 months before.
For symptoms, I noticed I felt the weird sour taste again. I never gagged this week so it was fine. I get hungry again after 2 hours. Hubby can't keep up with my appetite. I wanted to eat with him but with my condition now, it seems I have a hard time if I can't eat when I wanted to eat. So I will eat now when I think I am hungry. I feel sorry for hubby. He does really want me to join him when he eats.
Clothes wise, I still fit all that I bought from early on. Large leggings that loosely fit before now becomes okay. At last finally, I can make use of that. Wedding band is still on. No stretchmark. No Cravings. I need to sleep early though. I am not getting enough sleep.
What I am hoping now is to see my baby again on the June 4th when I do the ultrasound again. I hope and pray he grows as what is expected of him and his on the right tract.

Second Trimester Tests
Results came back normal. No suspicion of abnormalities and fetal growth. My appointment at 3:30 was delayed for 45 minutes. I was called in, measured my weight 128.4 and blood pressure 107/72. Normal. Later after 15 minutes I went to Exam room No. 2. The sonographer was a Filipina. She's nice. Asked about the due date and also politely asked if I'm Filipino. No problem with that. She asked me in Tagalog and then I laid down flat back on the bed. Put the solution on my tummy and do her business.
All throughout the measuring and running the doppler was quite intense for me. The baby was overly super active. It took more than an hour until the Doctor already came to see if she can do it as well but failed. The baby just can't sit still. It bounces around like crazy.
So, the doctor advised to do another scan in the next 2 weeks. Gestational week is a week behind. I was a bit disappointed. I thought his going to be in the right track. But still very small. The doctor told me there is nothing to worry it's always plus and minus and fetal growth with our baby is normal. I was relief.
For the gender reveal, It's A BOY!

19 Weeks Pregnant
19 weeks and 5 days |
I had my appointment with Dr. W last Monday. A brief visit to check heartbeat, weight and blood pressure. Weight 128.8. I gained 3 lbs since last month. Doc was happy about that. Blood pressure 110/66 seems pretty normal and consistent. Then Dr W told me my result from the state test was an a+ so certainly have no concern now with abnormalities. I can never be so happy to hear the good news.
Food wise. I can already eat as normal. No more eating every 2 hrs. No gagging. Only certain foods give me heartburn. I have no perfect formula yet.
Health wise, I am in good shape right now. I will maintain what I'm doing and if the Dr. said I'm good then I will rely on that.

18 weeks Pregnant
The stress at my job had put me down so when hubby asked how will I feel with traveling I said oh yeah right away. He was stressed at his job too and needed a break. Both of us needed the break. I asked my boss which gave me a not so appreciative look when I said I will be taking a week off. I don't care anymore. They don't care with me anyway so I was persistent to ask. I got a yes but I know his not happy so who cares. His new and he didn't suffer what I suffer from the years of working with the stupid job. So enough bluff with my job. I had a marvelous time spending my almost ending week in the Dominican Republic.
Pregnancy wise, I was eating like crazy when I arrived. We got to the resort past 7pm and we ate at the first buffet area. My palette was jumping with joy. I never experience this wild feeling of food since I got pregnant. So it means, I am normal now. Wow! Food is delicious.
Though eating a lot is not a good idea, I suffered my consequence. Heartburn attack! After 3 days of crazy devouring lots of food, I made myself to stop eating a lot but eat good if I want in a moderate way. So my heartburn subsided 50%. Thank goodness. I can be normal again.
2 days ago, I had a hard time sleeping. I don't know what's going on with my belly. Searching online using my ipod touch every chance I could get from the resort. With a VIP privilege, I have an access closer to where my room is. So I searched and searched then asked my friend. It's normal. I have my fetal movement at last. It's so weird to feel that hard thing on the stomach. I didn't know what to expect in the beginning. I was thinking oh no something's happening with the baby. But yet, all of it was just telling me that my baby is trying to tell me his/her kicking the butt of me. LOL.
My husband early this morning, noticed that he saw my stomach moved. It waked me up actually. It was a little uncomfortable because I don't know what's going on. Then I went to the bathroom and peed, sorry TMI and when I went back to bed, the movement again came back and told hubby so he rushed and greeted the baby. It was a soothing feeling. Good that baby is enjoying the vacation too. LOL!
